Anders has composed music to the performance ”Spår av Ristningar”(Traces of Rock carvings) by Embla Dance & Theatre. Together with dancer/choreographer Anna Wennerbeck and archeologist Henrik Hallgren he will perform at the carvings in Western Sweden. The audience will be taken on a journey 3000 years back in a performance which is a meeting between music, dance and science.

The 1 of april Anders performed in Uppsala with composer and singer Martin Bagge, poet Elisabet Hermodsson and the mezzosoprano Charlotte Hellekant in a program based on the lyrics of Elisabet. At this concert their new cd ”...vid denna strand , vid detta hav, vid detta vatten…” was released.

Later in april (22nd) Anders will, together with Dan and Margareta Evmark collaborate with the chamberchoir in Växjö.
In may will follow performances with Johannes Landgren besides teaching at the Academy of Music and Drama.
Anders will be one of the teachers at Blekinge Jazz & Worldmusic 17-21 of june.

NEWS JANUARY 2007
In the end of January Anders will make a tour with organplayer Johannes Landgren. Together they will perform music from their critically acclaimed CD "Of Air". During spring Anders will be teaching at Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg(www.hsm.gu.se). He will also compose and rehearse music for a new project.
The filmserie Stenristarna has been released on DVD. During autumn 2006, it was again broadcasted in Sweden and also in Norway and Finland

Anders has been off the scene for some time dued to healthreasons, but is now slowly coming back.
During summer he has played concerts with Johannes Landgren, Winduo, Margareta Evmark, Tjant and Yggdrasil.
Yggdrasil was formed by Kristian Blak 25 years ago. This was celebrated with concerts in Torshavn at the Faroe Islands. Old and new members, totally 11 musicians performing new music (every musician composed one part each) in a "jubilee-suite". The group also played new music composed by saxophoneplayer John Tchicai.
Anders has been associated with Kristian Blak and Yggdrasil for 22 years and the Faroe Islands is a special place for him.
In november Anders will make a tour with Yggdrasil performing in Sweden and Finland. During the autumn there will be some churchconcerts with Johannes Landgren , a performance in Thessaloniki, Greece and teaching at the Gothenburg University, Academy of music & drama.
Anders has also made the music to the danceperformances "Sov du?" and "Spår av ristningar" by Embla dance & theater. The ensemble is touring all over Sweden during fall 06 and spring 07

New releases
Anders has composed music to the TV-serie ”Stenristarna” about the prehistory of Scandinavia. The film is made by Agaton Film & TV for Swedish Television in cooperation with DR,NRK & YLE. The three parts will be broadcasted in SVT as follows:

The music from the film will also be released on the CD ”Stenristarna” by Virginrecords/EMI. The titletheme is sung by faroese singer Eivor Palsdottir.
Winduo (Anders & Yasuhito Mori)will release a new cd(Imogena) in Japan in june 05. It´s a recording from a magic winternight in Tallinn, Estonia . The acoustic of the church where the concert was held was fantastic and has contributed to a big and warm sound. The japanese artist Kaori Okano has been inspired by the music and made a number of artworks which are presented on the CD-cover.
In august-september the cd will be released in Scandinavia.
Anders collaboration with churchorgan-player Johannes Landgren has resulted in the CD "Of Air". The music was recorded in Vasakyrkan in Göteborg and there is both churchmusic, orginals as well as free improvisations.
The reviews have been very good .

Another CD wich features Anders is with singer Karolina Vucidolac , "Brasil Meu pais musical" (Imogena). The rhytmsection consists of three great musicians from Brazil who also plays with the legend Joao Bosco and his band.
Faroese group Yggdrasil with whom Anders played for many years has made a live cd from a concert in Rudolstadt, Germany july 2003(TUTL Records). It features talented singer Eivor Palsdottir in close interplay with Hagbergs sopranosax.
Live at Rudolstadt (Tutl *****) is a work of consummate musicianship plus everything a truly great recording should be.
….If we dished out six stars, it would earn them for its music.

In december did Hagberg record with the danish band ”Pierre Dørge &New Jungle Orchestra” for a new cd on the Stunt label. Hagberg was also featured as a guest soloist at their concert at Copenhagen Jazzhouse just before New Year.
In january Anders has been at the Faroese Islands to record an opera by composer Kristian Blak featuring solovocalists as Ernst Dalsgaard from ”Den Kongelige Teater” and Icelandic grammy winner Eivor Palsdottir.
25/1 will Johannes Landgren and Anders play a concert at Billdal Church which will feature a program from their coming cd (release summer 04).

In february Hagberg will go to Canada with Mynta and play concerts in Toronto. In end of march to beginning of april he will tour with Mynta in Sweden and a festival in Denmark(see www.mynta.net for tourplan)
In end of february he will record with singer Karolina Vucidolac and musicians from Brasil(feat. rhytm section from Joao Bosco band) for a cd at Imogena Records.
In between these projects is Anders teaching at The School of Music at Gothenburg University(Musikhögskolan).

”Winduo & Ginestrakvartetten
…Underhållning på hög nivå… Rekommenderas!
…Först och främst måste Anders Hagberg nämnas. I hans spel fanns denna kväll en märklig glöd. Och en fantastisk säkerhet i vad han än tog sig för.
Sopransaxofonen sjöng mjukt och vackert av svenskt vemod i folkmusikvändningar av vallåtar och fäbod, med ekon tyckte jag av lurlåtarna i Hugo Alfvéns ”Dalarapsodi”.
Men den kunde också stegra sig till sällsam styrka i det georgiska stycket, det som påminde så mycket om soundet från Jan Garbareks saxofonspel och Hilliardensemblens sång.
På flöjt var Hagberg än mer mångsidig. Slank ton eller köttigt fet. Growl och klaffsmällar som beatmarkeringar, drillar och perfekt timing ihop med basisten i den tufft riviga egna låten ”Small Talk”.
Vilken showman! Bra nog att höra på skivorna. Men han ska ses och höras direkt!
…Yasuhito Mori kan inte ha många övermän i konsten att spela svängigt drivande. Tangon blev ett ypperligt exempel på det.
Och tekniken? Lyssna bara på ”Blues for Al”, det täta samspelet med Hagberg och den briljanta uppåtskalan som överraskande slutkläm. Underbart!
…Ginestrakvartetten har spelat det mesta som länsmusiker: Beatles och Bellman, balettmusik koreograferad av Efva Lilja och jazz ihop med gitarristen Ewan Svensson Quartet.
I söndags fäste jag mig särskilt vid två saker: passacaglian de spelade över Lars Gullins sista stycke ”Toka Voka Oka Boka”, både skir och skör musik; och det frifräsiga

During the summer 2003 Hagberg has been touring in the US and Germany with the Faroese group Yggdrasil.
His own group Earthsongs has been performing at the worldmusicfestival "Urkult" where they were doing the opening called "Eldnatt" together with dancers, acrobats and fireartists.
Winduo has been playing concerts with their new collaboration with stringquartet Ginestra and has gained good reviews and appreciation from the audience.
Hagberg has rejoined with Mynta during the summer , playing festivals in the US, Finland and Norway.
During september Hagberg has been recording with poet Elisabet Hermodsson and singer / composer Martin Bagge .Earthsongs has been recording a video for the TV program ”Musikspegeln” wich will be broadcasted during the fall 03
In october a cd will be recorded with organplayerJohannes Landgren for the new label Footprint.
Hagberg has composed and recorded music for the film ”War against disease” featuring photographer Lennart Nilsson. This film is now ready and will be broadcasted in Swedish Television 20th of october 03 and in Germany and France later this season.
